Once the water/foam mixture flows through the foam generator, it is mixed with air, which generates the foam and covers the top of the fire in order to isolate the fire from air to extinguish the fire without afterburning.

This product is suitable for the tops of storage tanks with a glass spacer inside; this glass spacer will break under the impact of the water pressure. The main function of the glass spacer is normally to isolate the gas or hazardous gas in the oil tank or other chemical solvent storage tank, which will spill over through the pipe or air entrance of the product.
